This is a concept for the Nike mobile app where users can search and order products. I wanted to take a shot at delivering a more fun style and feel overall, along with simpifying the user experience and functionality.

GOALS

My main goal as the UI/UX Designer was to create a beautiful interface for users that also added in some fun touches, like fun illustrations and icons. I also wanted to simplify some user flows and make navigating easier.

USER ENGAGEMENT

Featuring new products and highlighting the user's favorites were key in driving the user engagement up.

DESIGN SYSTEM

Building the product's universal design system was key in creating visual hierarchy and consistency.

INTUITIVE INTERFACE

The interface was designed to guide and help users find new products and make checkout easy and efficient.

PROCESS

The design process started out with years of experience using the Nike app myself and finding pain points, particularly easy access to new products and making checkout easier. The style guide, flows, and wireframes were created, then low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups. The high-fidelity screens were used to make a prototype to test the app out and iterate from user feedback.
